    SOCOM Glocks

    UPDATE (5-25-2016):  All of the SOCOM Glocks have been received, in-processed, and disseminateed  
     
    Please read the entire web page for requirements and updates before coming to pick up your firearm ESPECIALLY IF:  YOUR ARE ACTIVE DUTY, YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE DOESN'T HAVE CURRENT INFORMATION, OR YOU ARE NOT A FLORIDA RESIDENT!.  If your status indicates "NEED PAPERWORK", the reqeuested information can be found at the bottom of this page.  Sending the information in advance WILL help your pick-up go faster.
     
    If you are TDY, on vacation, or otherwise unable to pick up your firearm within 30 days, please let us know so we don't do your background check in advance.  A background check is good for 30 days or 1 transaction - whichever occurs first.  A background check is $5 so don't let the 1st one expire.
     
    When you come in, if you do not have a FL Concealed Weapons License, please bring the printed receipt from Glock (found in your email sent from Isreal Martins).  This receipt will satisfy our 3-day wait.
     
    UPDATE 2 (24FEB2016):  The orders listed above are ready for pick up.  If "Need Information" is listed next to your name, please scroll down this page.  Details of what to expect and what is needed are below.  The people that have sent their paperwork in advance already have completed background checks.  Everyone has to have a background check, even if they have a Florida Concealed Weapons License.  If you don't have a Florida Concealed Weapons License, please bring a copy of the receipt from Glock (not the FedEx notification).  Early orders have the invoice in an email from Harris Couch of Glock.  Later orders had the invoice mailed to them via USPS.  The receipt will satisfy the 3-day wait required by law.  Check your email for it and print it out. Even if you are not in the current shipment, feel free to send your information before the next shipment is ready. We are happy to process it in advance.  Please let us know if we can be of assistance.

    If you arrive and the parking lot is full, feel free to park in the George's Mower parking except for the four spots designated for George's Mower with signs (they're protective over those spots).  The access points behind our building and our parking lot are a through-way for people hauling trailers - please do not block those access points.  Motorcyle parking is better than SOCOM.
     
    If your name is NOT on the list below or already picked up your firearm, your firearm is not in the current shipment.  We will provide more information on the next shipment when it arrives.  Please send in the requested information anyway.
     
    UPDATE 1 (15FEB2016):  No new orders will be accepted.  No additional firearms can be added to your existing order.  
     
    Congratulations on your purchase of the special SOCOM Glock special military offer.  The following information will help keep you informed of what you can expect during the production and disemination process.
     
    SOCOM GLOCK SPECIAL PURCHASE INFORMATION:
    Glock is anticipating shipping 50 SOCOM Commemorative Glock 19s per week until all orders have been satisfied.  The week your Glock will be available for pick-up depends on the date Glock processed your order.  Once Glock has shipped the first group of firearms, Glock will have a better idea for delivery times on the remaining shipments.  Please understand that production times in the firearms industry are only approximate and can change at any time for a plethora of reasons.  No production and delivery dates are ever solid.  Your patience and understanding is this matter is greatly appreciated.  
     
    Please direct your questions to Tampa Tactical Supply, LLC instead of Glock.  Tampa Tactical Supply, LLC can keep this webpage updated and answer questions here so the answers are available to eveyone.
     
    DELIVERY SCHEDULE:
    The second shipment has been sent from Glock (effective date: 4/7/2016).  There will be one more large shipment coming.  We will update this page upon receipt of the next shipment.
     
    The shipment from which you will receive your SOCOM Glock will depend on the date your order was placed.

    SHIPPING TO ANOTHER FFL AFTER RECEIVING YOUR FIREARM AT TAMPA TACTICAL SUPPLY, LLC:    
    You can ship your firearm elsewhere after it arrives at Tampa Tactical Supply, LLC.  Firearms can only be shipped to another FFL, where the end recipient can pick up the firearm.  To find an FFL, use the following link:

    You must arrange for shipment to another FFL IN PERSON. You will need to provide the following information:  
     
    End Recipient:  First and last name, phone number, email address, physical address
    FFL:  Name, phone number, email address (Have the receiving FFL email a copy of their FFL to us and reference your name)  
     
    BACKGROUND CHECKS:
    Everyone has to have a background check; even if you have a Florida Concealed Weapons License.  We DO NOT have to do the background checks in advance but every little bit we can have done beforehand helps.  It will help the process go smoother and faster as checks can sometimes take 2-3 hours if FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement) is busy.  From time to time, FDLE will respond with a delayed response (up to 3 business days by law).  Background checks in advance can help filter out any issues in a timely manner and save you an extra trip.
     
    Copies of Driver's license and concealed carry permits are not necessary until the recipient comes for the pick-up. Please, DO NOT send it as an attachment in an email.
     
    Social Security Number is completely optional.  The only time we voice our opinion one way or another about providing it is if someone has common names, been victim to identity theft, or has been the subject of mistaken identity.  An indicator to suggest using the SSN is if you have ever had a delay on a background check for a firearm, have had the suggestion to get a UPIN number from the FBI, or a Redress Number for flying.  If these terms are unfamiliar, they probably don't apply.  Entering a partial SSN does NOT provide enough information to be useful on the background check (all or nothing).  Providing a social security number can prevent an unnecessary delay from FDLE.
     
    Initiate the background check (via email) by providing the answers to questions 1-10, 13, and 14 found on form 4473:  Firearms Transaction Record Part I – Over-The-Counter.  Do not worry about printing your own 4473 as Tampa Tactical Supply, LLC. has the forms available to you.  The form MUST be filled out by the recipient in the store anyway.  Forms printed in Spanish are available.  The questions from the form 4473 are listed below. The order of the questions from the form has been changed for convenience of data entry.
     
    You DO NOT have to come to the store to fill out the 4473 in advance but you are welcome to do so if you want.  We are always glad to see each of you but we are also happy to save you time and an additional trip.  Even if you send in the information via email, when you come to the store, you will have to fill out the official copy of the 4473.
     
    Be sure to include your contact information (preferably not work phone numbers or email addresses unless it works best for you) and the name you prefer to be called if different than your legal name.  The information will be used to create your customer account and perform your background check in advance to assist in preventing any unnecessary delays.
